See me holdin' my t-shirt.

Outside the hall there were lots of well dressed goths, ageha gyaru, cosplayers, and middle-aged women. The first day I went with [info]shigeruhiko and got the Osaka edition tour shirt and clear file. The cat paws sold out in 15 minutes y'all. o.o The second day I met up with 11 other Dears from mixi and we had a mini off-kai that mostly consisted of us sitting in the shade and being like "It's hot..."

Dears for life!:

Inside they had a life-size cutout of the Gladiator Gackt with a camera on it that said it was a live feed to backstage and Gackt was watching us come in, so we waved at it. Mayu was all like "omg I was so nervous he saw me!" XD;
the live report. very long. no, I'm not kidding. long. )

Pissed off beyond pissed off. So the eikaiwa told me originally to come in 930-610. Then yesterday I got call from the kansai trainer saying 9-730. I told them I had plans and would not stay late but I'd be here at 9. So I'm here at 9. In the rain.In front of a locked building which no one will be here to open until 930, according to the branch manager I just called.

Tempted to go home and say I quit. I am now creepily lurking in the covered enterance of the next door apartment building. The tenants look concerned.

When you see this, post your favourite poem in your journal.

The Woman at the Washington Zoo
Randall Jarrell

The saris go by me from the embassies.

Cloth from the moon. Cloth from another planet.
They look back at the leopard like the leopard.

And I. . . .
This print of mine, that has kept its color
Alive through so many cleanings; this dull null
Navy I wear to work, and wear from work, and so
To my bed, so to my grave, with no
Complaints, no comment: neither from my chief,
The Deputy Chief Assistant, nor his chief—

Only I complain. . . . this serviceable
Body that no sunlight dyes, no hand suffuses
But, dome-shadowed, withering among columns,
Wavy beneath fountains—small, far-off, shining
In the eyes of animals, these beings trapped
As I am trapped but not, themselves, the trap,
Aging, but without knowledge of their age,
Kept safe here, knowing not of death, for death—
Oh, bars of my own body, open, open!

The world goes by my cage and never sees me.
And there come not to me, as come to these,
The wild beasts, sparrows pecking the llamas' grain,
Pigeons settling on the bears' bread, buzzards
Tearing the meat the flies have clouded. . . .
Vulture,
When you come for the white rat that the foxes left,
Take off the red helmet of your head, the black
Wings that have shadowed me, and step to me as a man:
The wild brother at whose feet the white wolves fawn,
To whose hand of power the great lioness
Stalks, purring. . . .
You know what I was,
You see what I am: change me, change me!
